Nearly two million Californians could lose health insurance coverage due to the elimination of health insurance subsidies and other support programs, many of them in Los Angeles County. To assist these families, a community organization has designed a pilot program with mobile clinics. Araceli Martínez accompanied the first medical unit to visit the historic Boyle Heights neighborhood and brings us this report.
