PROGRAM #11030 12:00 PM PT
Latinas Break Ground Caring for the Land.
Every day, more Latina women are moving from field labor to land ownership, becoming organic producers trained in sustainable land management, leadership, and clean agricultural practices. How are they breaking the gender barrier in farming? How do women care for the land while transforming agriculture? How do cultural traditions shape and strengthen their crops? And what does their work mean for their communities? This program is part of the series “Cuando se seca el arroyo.”
