Live concert featuring Los Camperos de Valles and Ecos de Borinquen. This program explores the common historic roots of the Mexican coplas and the Puerto Rican décimas. Live concert featuring Eliseo y su Chanchona Melódica Oriental, a seven-member ensemble with roots in rural Eastern El Salvador and Los Pleneros de la 21, who for 25 years have performed strong Afro-Puerto Rican music known as bomba and plena. Sunday, July 3, 10 PM EDT - 1 AM EDT The Dance Scene. Live concert featuring Los Pleneros de la 21 and the JCJ Band, a dance band that specializes in popular Dominican merengue.
