COMING HOME: VETERANS' HEALTH. Thousands of soldiers returning from Iraq and Afghanistan face numerous ailments after their tours of duty. Some of these veterans fight new battles at home: PTSD, brain injuries, mental illness – even homelessness. How prepared are the VA and our communities to deal with the needs of returning veterans?This program is part of the "Health Dialogues" series in partnership with KQED, San Francisco’s public radio.

CANDIDATES RETURN TO LATINO FORUMS. Presidential candidates Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain have appeared recently before three of the main Latino organizations across the country, NALEO, LULAC and NCLR. The candidates say the Latino vote will be key in this election. How much are they willing to invest in mobilizing this voters? Are these visits symbolic? Do the candidates come with serious offers? Analysts and reporters provide an overview. This program is an edition of the series "Hacia el Voto 2008".
