Legalization would Stimulate the Economy; Massive March Against Arpaio; Oaxaca Residents Save Water.

LEGALIZATION WOULD STIMULATE THE ECONOMY. A sweeping program that legalizes immigrants would not only help inject new life in to the nation's battered economy, but would also cause an increase in the salaries of workers and expand the middle class of the United States. These are some of the conclusions of researchers from the University of California in Los Angeles, who studied up-close the results of the legalization program of 1986. Our New York correspondent Marco Vinicio Gonzalez spoke with an immigrant turned businessman due to the amnesty of '86.

MASSIVE MARCH AGAINST ARPAIO. Accusing sheriff Joe Arpaio of widespread abuses against immigrant and Latino residents, political leaders and local activists convened a massive concentration of people in Phoenix, operations center of the controversial sheriff. The organizers demand that the Obama administration immediately stops police abuses against the immigrant population. Entertainment stars Linda Ronstadt and Little Joe have confirmed their attendance to the protest. Elvia Diaz reports from Arizona's capital city.

OAXACA RESIDENTS SAVE WATER. The scarcity of drinking water in the southern Mexican state of Oaxaca is chronic. The state government promises the construction of new dams to solve this serious problem. Meanwhile, a group of environmentalists and state residents have implemented ingenious alternatives to save the precious liquid. Our correspondent Vladimir Flores visited two of these projects and delivers the report.
