CENSUS 2010 KICKS OFF. The 2010 Census Count is less than 100 days away. This is the national population count that takes place every ten years to determine how federal monies and political offices will be redistributed around the nation. To encourage citizen participation, the U.S. Census Bureau is launching the largest campaign in history. In Los Angeles, most politicians and grassroots leaders joined the effort. Still, some in the community expressed concerns. Ruben Tapia files the story.
