U.S. Debates Honduras Coup de' 脡ta; Children Tragedy and Mexican Elections; Aztec Vestuario

U.S. DEBATES HONDURAS COUP DE鈥 脡TA - The international community has rejected the coup d鈥櫭﹖at in Honduras. The Organization of American States has given a 72-hour deadline to the de facto government to reinstate president Manuel Zelaya or Honduras will be expelled from the organism. The incident has become the first test for the Obama administration on its new relation with Latin America. For Honduran 茅migr茅s it is a debate on the future of a fragile democracy in a country with a long history of coups. Marco Vinicio Gonzalez reports from New York.

CHILDREN TRAGEDY AND MEXICAN ELECTIONS - The fire accident in a daycare on the northern state of Sonora, Mexico has impacted the whole country. To date there are 48 children dead. The tragedy confronts state and federal agencies in the country, and unveils serious irregularities and corruption that surround these private businesses. Like few times in history, Sonora鈥檚 society has thrown themselves to the streets to demand justice for the victims. This, as Francisco Tapia Guzman reports from Hermosillo, could impact the results of Sunday鈥檚 mid-term elections.

AZTEC VESTUARIO - The Centro Cultural de la Raza in San Diego, California has been a source of Chicano art for four decades. Recently, it opened a space for a group of designers who make Aztec Dance vestuarios.  It was there where our reporter Ana Lilia Barraza met a dancer and master seamstress who with great dedication teaches her trade to new generations. This is a feature report part of our series  鈥淣uestras Ra铆ces鈥- profiles of folk artists.
