HUMANITARIAN VISAS FOR TWO OAXACAN STUDENTS - The Obama administration decision to issue humanitarian visas to 3 deported students was received with great surprise. The young minors were arrested during a federal raid on the trolley system in San Diego, California, while they were traveling to school. The authorities announced the news in a press conference the same day that the White House postponed a meeting to begin Immigration Reform discussions. Our correspondent Manuel Ocaño talked to experts that say this action could be a favorable precedent for potential deportees.

MEXICAN ARTISAN INVENTS PIÑATAS 3D - Artisan Laurencio Aburto made piñatas in his native Morelos, Mexico. In the beginning, many years ago, he used to make the piñatas of clay, in star- shapes and covered with paper of many colors.  When he migrated to the United States, Aburto noticed that piñatas were very popular and that brought him back to his trade, but this time he modernized his craft to please his clients and invented a style to be soon patented. Gabriel Martinez files the story.
