Radio Bilingüe airs a live broadcast and webcast about this weekend’s massive immigrant rallies

 

Radio Bilingüe will air a two-hour live broadcast on the massive pro-immigrant rallies and actions planned for this Saturday, May 1st in dozens of cities from coast to coast.

 

Tens of thousands of demonstrators are expected to take to the streets this weekend to protest against a draconian immigration law in Arizona and bring the issue of immigration reform back to the forefront.

 

Radio Bilingüe’s will provide a timely report on these coordinated actions and analysis on the hot Arizona debate. News correspondents will file reports from the hubs of the largest demonstrations around the country. Additionally, immigration advocates, police chiefs, Arizona legislators and representatives from the White House have been invited to join the radio and online program.

 

The special, Spanish-language program will air at the following times:

 

2 pm to 4 pm Pacific Time

Saturday, May 1st

 

The broadcast will be aired over Satélite Radio Bilingüe, the bilingual national public radio network. A live audio stream, podcast service, and photographs will also be available online on www.radiobilingue.org.
