Radio Bilingüe is a network of non commercial independent community radio stations owned and operated by Latinos. We are the Latino Public Radio network. As of this 4th of July, Radio Bilingüe is celebrating 28 years on the air! With six stations up and down California and more than 100 affiliate stations throughout the U.S., Radio Bilingüe offers a variety of traditional music, as well as top quality news to Latino communities across the nation. Through the daily newscast Noticiero Latino, our national news show Linea Abierta, and our weekly news features on Edición Semanaria de Noticiero Latino, as well as local programs such as La Hora Mixteca, Comunidad Alerta, and Placita Bilingüe, we offer news and information on health, education, environment, immigration, labor rights, arts and culture. Our programming reflects our communities: it is multicultural and multilingual, with shows in English, Spanish, Mixteco, Triqui, and Hmong.
