* End-of-life care for Latinos
Radio Bilingüe explores Latino approaches
to death and dying in an original series.
Welcome
Latinos are just beginning to learn about an important new health care institution. The hospice is a new resource to alleviate pain and provide the best possible death. Radio Bilingüe leads the effort to educate the fast-growing Latino communities to seek and demand end-of-life care. A year-long series of talk shows, mini-dramas, news reports, educational messages and first-person testimonials, Últimos Cuidados explores changing views on death and the needs of the dying and their loved ones.
Últimos Cuidados is produced by Radio Bilingüe in partnership with the California Hospice and Palliative Care Association. The series is funded in part by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, and the Project on Death in America of the Open Society Institute.
