The daily news editions of Noticiero Latino have been a staple of public radio's satellite service since March 1985. Satélite Radio Bilingüe provides, Monday through Friday, the day-to-day news developments of Latinos across the nation.

News stories of special interest to Spanish-speaking audiences are filed daily by reporters based in the heart of the top Latino enclaves in the nation. Stories frequently originate from Tucson, Albuquerque, El Paso, Guadalajara and the states of Michoacán and Oaxaca in Mexico. Currently, the news service relies on regular correspondents in Washington, DC, New York, Miami, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Chicago, Houston, and Mexico City.

Noticiero Latino correspondents have broken stories ranging from legal challenges to Proposition 227 in California to mental health services for Latinos to Mexico's dual nationality law. They also keep track of stories that otherwise might not make headlines in the mainstream media.

Noticiero Latino provides seven bulletins Monday through Friday:
Morning Edition: Airs at 10:00 AM PST, 11:00 AM PST and 12:00 Noon

Afternoon Edition: Airs at 1:00 PM PST, 2:00 PM PST, and 3:00 PM PST
Evening Edition: Runs at 7:00 PM PST

The news service can be used in its entirety, as a top-of-the-hour news program. It can also be used as a segment of a news program. If preferred, each news story can be used individually to complement a news program.

The hourly bulletins are available free of charge on two satellites, Ku band's GE 1 and the Galaxy VI on C-band. For stations without a satellite downlink, the feed is available via telephone, by dialing (209) 455-5798 and (209) 455-5797.
