"Native America Calling" Now Available on Satélite Radio Bilingüe's KU-Band
Satélite Radio Bilingüe is partnering with American Indian Radio on Satellite (AIROS) to offer a live feed of the ongoing talk show series "Native America Calling" on the Latino public radio network's KU-band satellite.
The first KU-band's satellite broadcast of "Native America Calling" is scheduled for Monday, July 5, at 10 AM Pacific Standard Time to coincide with the 19th anniversary celebration of KSJV, in Fresno, Radio Bilingüe's first station.
"Native America Calling," AIROS's flagship program, is a live one-hour call-in show, now distributed to 27 Native American radio stations and the National Public Radio system, Monday through Friday at noon Central Time. Through SRB's KU-band satellite feed, NAC will now be available for stations currently not interconnected to public radio's satellite system. Distribution fees to use "Native America Calling" are determined directly with AIROS.
Satélite Radio Bilingüe is the Latino satellite public radio network. The network is based on the five-station, non-profit Radio Bilingüe network in California and distributes news and cultural programming by and about Latinos to over 65 stations in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Mexico. Radio Bilingüe's flagship station, KSJV in Fresno, CA will celebrate nineteen years serving Latinos on the air on July 4th. Satélite Radio Bilingüe's KU-Band's footprint reaches the entire continental United States, southern Canada, northern Mexico and Hawaii with a state-of-the-art digital signal.
