TEXAS EDITION – GLORY ROAD. This movie, with a strong early box office showing, tells the story of the underdog Texas Western College basketball team. The first basketball team starting with a line up of all African-American players, TWC rose to win the 1966 NCAA Tournament. Veteran journalist and author Ray Sanchez joins Carlos Spector-Calderon to talk about how this team changed history, changed the face of college basketball and why was it that the team could thrive in El Paso, home of the then-Texas Western College. Mr. Sanchez is the author of the book "Basketball Biggest Upset" and a key consultant for the movie "Glory Road."

The immigrants are now seeking visas to stay. Other topics include the massive demonstration announced for Chicago and the culmination in San Diego of a migrant caravan that traveled around the country opposing current anti-immigrant legislation.
