The newscast Pulso de la Tarde, a mid-day segment featuring headline news with a focus on Mexican developments, begins broadcasting in the U.S. on Monday, May 3rd at 1:30 PM PDT via Satélite Radio Bilingüe.

The newscast is a production of XEEP - Radio Educación, the premier public radio station in Mexico that was founded in 1924.  The Mexico City station has developed diverse and quality cultural programming and independent news services since 1968. Radio Educación and Radio Bilingüe have partnered on various projects since 1985.

The 30-minute segment of Pulso de la Tarde will be available in the U.S. Monday through Thursday on the public radio satellite system on C-band Galaxy 4R and on Ku-band Galaxy 11 satellites. Mexico’s public satellite network Edusat makes possible the feed into the U.S.
