Mexican Radio Drama Cuatro Mujeres Premieres in the U.S. on Latino Public Satellite Network

A mother and her three daughters living in Mexico City do their best to recover from their shock and suffering after one of them was raped. The story of these women and their struggle to find justice is featured in the radio drama Cuatro Mujeres, a production of Instituto Mexicano de la Radio offered now to U.S. audiences by Satélite Radio Bilingüe.

The first chapter of the series premieres this Monday, May 3rd, and will be aired Monday through Friday at 9:00 AM PDT. Cuatro Mujeres is a series of 25 half-hour chapters.

Instituto Mexicano de la Radio is an institution of Mexico’s Ministry of Education. It was founded in 1983 and currently broadcasts news, and cultural and musical programming through its 19 stations around Mexico.

Satélite Radio Bilingüe is the distribution service of Radio Bilingüe, the national Latino public radio network in the U.S. With offices in Fresno and San Francisco, CA, the non-profit network provides news, information and cultural programming to about sixty stations around the United States, Puerto Rico and northern Mexico.

Funding for Radio Bilingüe's informational programs comes in part from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and The California Endowment.
